Client Stories
Notes from teams that used File Maple Hub for cloud infrastructure planning and migration advisory.
Voices from the room
“They made us postpone two databases we were ready to lift. Annoying at the time — those were the ones that would have broken our Friday release train.”
— Mei-Ling Chen, Platform lead, logistics product company
“The landing-zone sketch finally gave finance a cost shape they could compare to our colo renewal. We still argue about the number, but at least we argue about the same model.”
— Jonas Wu, CTO, Kaohsiung manufacturing group
“Workshops ran long and the homework was real. I would have liked a thinner pack, but operations keeps citing the rollback criteria, so the length paid for itself.”
— Priya Natarajan, SRE manager, regional payments team
“Clear about what they would not do. No one tried to sell us a managed service halfway through discovery.”
— Hao-Yu Lin, Infrastructure owner, education technology firm
Extended story: Wave zero for a hybrid warehouse estate
A southern Taiwan manufacturer needed to move inventory APIs off aging blades before a colo renewal. File Maple Hub ran an Infrastructure Assessment, then a six-week Cloud Migration Advisory. Discovery found a batch job silently coupled to an on-prem license server — a detail absent from the architecture wiki. Wave zero became a license and identity cleanup; wave one moved non-critical reporting; the customer-facing APIs waited for a second quarter. Cutover rehearsal caught a DNS TTL mistake that would have doubled customer-facing downtime. The advisory pack is still the reference when new plants ask why the sequence looks “too slow.”
Extended story: Dual-cloud pressure without dual complexity
A product team with accounts in two public clouds asked for Cloud Architecture Planning before merging environments after an acquisition. We facilitated three workshops and produced a decision log that retired seven overlapping shared services. Mild reservation from their security lead: the recommended identity model needed more IdP work than hoped. They accepted the delay rather than paper over the gap. Migration advisory followed three months later with a cleaner blast radius.
