Engagement Path
How File Maple Hub runs cloud infrastructure planning and migration advisory from first call to final pack.
Advisory work fails when everyone expects a different kind of help. This page spells out how we engage so you can decide whether the model fits before you book dates.
Stage 1 — Scoping conversation
A short call to confirm whether we are the right advisors. We discuss estate size, urgency, and whether you need assessment, architecture planning, migration advisory, or a sequence of those. No fee for this call.
Stage 2 — Proposal and deposit
You receive a written proposal: scope boundaries, workshop count, deliverables, fee, and timeline. A deposit reserves calendar time. See Rates and Refunds.
Stage 3 — Discovery
We read what you already have and interview owners. Gaps become agenda items, not surprises mid-workshop.
Stage 4 — Workshops
Facilitated sessions with decision logs. We push for named owners and dates. Parking-lot items are tracked; they do not silently vanish.
Stage 5 — Pack and briefing
Draft artefacts, revision cycles, final pack, and a sponsor briefing. After delivery, light email clarification is included for two weeks; new scope becomes a new proposal.
What we ask of you
Access to people who know the systems, honest blackout calendars, and a single client-side owner who can unblock document sharing.
